Anne Scanlon is a Brisbane based, self-taught artist who looks for the everyday moments of joy for her inspiration.  Ranging from native local flora to iconic nostalgia, connection is at the heart of her work to both her medium, and her audience.  Her love of oil pastels gives a vibrant, painterly approach, and her subject aims to bring a smile to the face of the viewer.  Her signature style is well known for attention to detail, and an unashamed use of colour.
