"Flowers and Citrus 2" 33x33

Kate Quinn is a Brisbane-based artist working full-time from her home studio, where she paints expressive oil works inspired by everyday beauty. Her practice centres on still life — florals, fruit, textiles and ceramics — with recent explorations into landscape, though still life remains at the heart of her work.

Before moving into art full time in 2022, Kate worked as a domestic violence specialist social worker, a background that brings depth and sensitivity to her creative practice. Alongside her studio work, she shares her love of painting through workshops and her popular monthly pet portrait series, ‘Monday Pawtraits’.

Kate’s work is available as original paintings, commissions, fine art prints and homewares, and she also hosts in-person and online floral still life workshops through Bloom Art Experiences.
